Quality Control
A well-known home rental company uses AI for quality control. Hosts have to submit both interior and exterior photos of the property. If the exterior photos do not match photos of the same address from Google Earth, they are given a lower score.
This helps purge fake listings and stem one of the biggest customer service challenges the company has wherein the guest shows up at the address, and there is no rental property in that location.
AI can also look through millions of data points, identify guest behaviour patterns, and create a rule set that will raise red flags for guests who violate company policies.
Curriculum Development
A popular online education platform was struggling to complete its curriculum on time as it required a large number of e-learning content to be created. They had to complete nearly 1,000 slides per day, and this required a large workforce.
With the help of prompt libraries and GPT4, the lesson plans and text for each slide were created. Midjourney was then used to design relevant images to match the content. Slide templates were generated into which the text and images were added. Employees would review the workflow and make corrections.
The company could easily complete 1000 slides per day, resulting in 83% productivity gains.
Employee Engagement
The HR department in a large IT company uses GenAI to provide better employee experiences. This includes improved self-service delivery (chatbots) with better conversational flows and tailored information. This has led to faster resolution of queries.
With data and insights, they are now looking to automate a large part of their onboarding process through faster content creation and visualisation.
GenAI can also suggest learning and development programmes specific to each employee while alerting HR of disengaged employees. Generative AI can save valuable time, which HR professionals can invest in conversations where their presence adds higher value.
